Drivers are an essential part of any taxi system. They are the actual service providers and mostly the only point of contact between consumers and your company. For these reasons, Tahaluf has developed a driver’s app that is bound to increase driver’s productivity as well as increase customers satisfaction. VelozTaxi driver app has an easy registration process. All the driver has to do is enter their phone number and they will receive an OTP. From there, the driver can proceed to enter his/her personal information as well as driver information. The driver’s information will then be sent to the backend system for the driver’s account to get activated. After the account is activated and a shift and at least one vehicle are assigned to the driver, he/she can start their account to fulfil riding requests. The driver app allows the driver to set his/her own status to either “Available to drive” or “Rest time”. When the driver receives a new request, they will be able to check the trip’s details before accepting the request.

VelozTaxi works according to a well-thought-out system to ensure seamless procedures and transactions. For a normal taxi hail, what happens is that the hail goes through a dispatch engine. The engine behaves according to whether the request is manual or auto. For auto requests, the nearest driver gets the hail request. Once they accept that request, the booking is confirmed. After the ride is completed, the payment is processed. The system accepts both cash and card payments. For manual requests, the dispatch engine returns a list of the nearest available drivers. The user can then select their favorite driver (based on driver rate, vehicle type, vehicle model, etc.). The request gets accepted automatically without the need to wait for the driver’s acceptance. In manual requests, users can also pay using either cash or credit/debit cards.
